Absrtact
The purpose of this project is to assist the Environmental Protection Administration (EPA) in maintaining and evaluating the database of 2002 EPA research project outcomes, producing a CD-ROM version of such database, and organizing the management and presentation of 2003 EPA research projects. Major tasks of this project include: (1) To establish a CD-ROM version of the database of 2002 EPA research project outcomes; to collect and compile full texts and abstracts of technology project outcomes for the years of 1997 to 2002 into a CD-ROM version of technology project database, of which 800 copies were produced and distributed by September 30, 2003. Attached to this CD-ROM is a questionnaire. (2) To assist in the review of 2002 EPA technology projects. The review procedure includes document review and onsite review. Two onsite reviews were organized on July 18 and August 7, 2003 to complete the review procedure. (3) To assist EPA in managing its 2003 science and technology research projects, including collecting and compiling 2003 technology research project outcomes, producing project summaries and executive summaries of progress and final reports and uploading them onto EPA designated websites (GRB system of National Science Council and EPA official website) as well as submitting 400 CD-ROM copies of the aforesaid information to EPA. Two presentation and review meeting on the 2003 science and technology projects were held in EPA on February 2 and February 11, 2004 . The CD-ROM database produced in this project provides an easy way for everyone to see the results of EPA-initiated technology researches.
